Privacy Policy

Gestion Condo Plus inc. (“Condo Plus”, “we”, “us”) is committed to protecting personal information. This policy explains what information we may collect through condoplus.ca, why we collect it, how we use it and the choices available to you.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

• Consultation request: name, email address, phone number, number of units, condominium property address and message.
• Contact form: name, email address, phone number, subject and message.
• Technical and security data: information related to your connection, browser or device that is required for operation, security and abuse prevention.
• Analytics data, with your consent: pages viewed, site interactions, browser and device type, general traffic source and approximate location.

We do not ask for sensitive information such as medical or banking information or identity documents through the site’s public forms. Please do not include such information in a free-text message unless it is genuinely necessary and we have asked you to provide it.

2. How we use the information

• to respond to general inquiries and consultation requests;
• to assess a condominium corporation’s needs and prepare an initial discussion;
• to communicate with you about your request;
• to secure the site and limit automated or fraudulent submissions;
• to measure and improve site usage when you have accepted analytics;
• to comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

3. Consent and forms

When you voluntarily submit a form, you consent to our use of the information provided to process your request. Required fields are identified in the form. Where permitted by law, you may withdraw consent by contacting our Privacy Officer.

4. Website security and Cloudflare Turnstile

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish human visitors from bots and reduce spam and abuse. The service may process technical signals such as IP address and information about the browser and connection environment. Condo Plus does not use Turnstile for advertising purposes.

5. Cookies and analytics

Functions required for operation and security are enabled by default. Analytics tools are enabled only after you agree.

If you select “Accept analytics”, we use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to understand general site usage. Google Analytics may use a first-party cookie identifier to distinguish visits and sessions. We do not intentionally send form contents to Google Analytics.

If you select “Essential only”, analytics tags are not loaded. You will be able to change your choice later through the preference control available on the site.

6. Service providers

We may use service providers that process certain information on our behalf, including:

• Funio, for website hosting;
• Google Workspace, for electronic communications;
• Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4, only when you consent to analytics;
• Cloudflare Turnstile, for form protection and bot detection.

Some providers may process or store information outside Québec. Such communications are handled in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.

7. Retention and destruction

We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or to meet legal requirements. As an operational rule for the website:

• general inquiries and consultation requests that do not lead to a mandate may be retained for up to 24 months after the last interaction;
• if a request leads to a business relationship, relevant information may be retained in the client file in accordance with contractual, accounting and legal requirements;
• Google Analytics user and event data will be configured with a maximum retention period of 14 months for data governed by that setting.

At the end of the applicable period, information is destroyed or anonymized where permitted by law and where appropriate.

8. Limited access and safeguards

Access to personal information is limited to people who need it to perform their duties. We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration or destruction.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent. You may also contact us with any privacy-related question or complaint.

10. Links to external services

The site may contain links to services operated by third parties, including CondoWeb or mapping services. Once you leave condoplus.ca, those services are governed by their own privacy practices.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices, site functionality or legal requirements. The latest update date appears at the top of this page. Material changes will be brought to the attention of affected individuals by an appropriate means.
